Bridging The Gaps for a Better Tomorrow
Individuals, Couples, and Families come to therapy with a range of concerns that include or are related to traumatizing major life events, depression, anxiety, anger management, loss, addiction, parenting issues, etc., that have negatively impacted their lives. As a result, they seek a therapist that can provide a safe, supportive place for them to talk about circumstances that are causing distress. Therapy should assist in adding relief for those symptoms. As a professional, I collaborate with clients to overcome these concerns.
My primary focus is Solution Focus Narrative Therapy. Through this lens, I seek to place concerning aspects of the individual, couple, or family's life story into perspective, which assists in the emotional realignment and the construction of new meanings to narratives that may emerge during therapy. My goal is to develop realistic solutions as quickly as possible, rather than keeping people in treatment for long periods, to promote lasting relief for those in therapy.
Like other relationships, therapeutic connections are built on mutual respect, non-judgment and nurtured in settings that provide comfort.
